This is the yacht dressed before we left St Lucia. She is flying the blue ensign from her mizzen, a Canadian courtesy flag on the port spreader and a St Lucian courtesy flag on the starboard spreader.
After several days of cleaning up after the booby and after he attacked the skipper, it was decided it was time to say goodbye. This booby trap managed to keep the booby away.
On the passage between the Galapagos and the Marquesas, we picked up a hitchhiker who stayed with us for 1000 miles. He stayed on the pulpit at first, but after a day or so he moved to the deck where eventually he settled down.
The crossing from mainland Ecuador to the Galapagos was long due to the lack of wind and strong current against us, but there was lots of time to photograph the ocean.
